FAQ
Will
the music be too loud?
It is always our aim to play loud enough to be heard while
still remaining in the background.
How
long can you play for?
We take bookings for up to six hours.
What
do we need to provide on the day?
Our only requirement is four chairs set out on the day.
Are
there any additional expenses?
We charge minimal travel expenses which is normally petrol
money for one vehicle.
How
far do you travel?
We travel all over the UK and have performed weddings as far
afield as the North of Scotland and Kent.
What
happens if the wedding is running late?
We understand that weddings do not always run to schedule
and are flexible on the day.
Can you arrange any piece of music?
If one months notice is given we can have any piece arranged
for the quartet.
Can
you play outdoors?
We often play outdoors during the drinks reception, but some
of the players instruments date back to the eighteenth century
so in the event of rain we would move inside.
What
will you wear?
Our normal dress is dinner jackets and bow ties
Can
we book you for extra hours on the day?
This is normally fine as long as we have no other engagements.
How
far in advance can we book?
The quartet has recently take bookings for 2009.
What happens if a member of the string quartet is unavailable ?
As professional muscians we are in touch with suitable deputies if required.
